Unusual Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring – Portfolio

After viewing our website for inspiration, this week our client came to us with a 'love knot' ring design brief.  The client wanted a beautiful three stone diamond engagement ring. Our brief included the desire for simplicity, yet encased in a contemporary design.  After following the curves of the client's initial drawing, we were able to translate this into a 3D model. Following on from the 3D model, we then made some minor alterations to ensure the ring retained its simplistic design feature and elegance, whilst avoiding looking 'chunky' or bold. The palladium ring is set with a 0.33ct round modern brilliant cut diamond of an F colour and an SI1 clarity in the centre. For the two outer stones, we used a three claw 2mm setting as this was more in keeping with the client's specification and design brief. These were angled ever so slightly to emphasise the direction of the metal to create the knot. Overall this created a very subtle and unique engagement ring design.
