This was a great job for Durham Rose to take on as we were commissioned for not one but two engagement rings for a lesbian couple. Both of them had very distinct ideas which were also quite different. We held separate consultations for each of them and with help from their partner these two fabulous designs were produced. Both rings have a strong diamond presence. The first features more detail with a split shank and three large diamonds as the focal point. The six claw setting was sculptured to extend from the shank and have this beautiful cross over detail which is visible from the side. The pears nestle softly in the split of the shank and the entire piece is surrounded by sparkling diamonds on the band. The second engagement ring has a stronger more solid band with a classic four claw setting holding an oval diamond. Having the oval diamond set landscape gives the band a consistent width which will allow a shadow wedding band.
