Contemporary Sapphire diamond halo ring – Portfolio

Our 'Ring of the Week' project this week was created in line with our clients wishes for a bespoke Sapphire and Diamond engagement ring. The design brief for the commission requested a simplistic, elegant and contemporary ring that would reflect the timeless love shared between the couple. The engagement ring features a striking cornflower blue, brilliant round cut Sapphire that sits in a sunken basket setting. The Sapphire is surrounded and complimented by an array of brilliant round cut Diamonds that are sat in a halo decorative setting. The exposed under gallery allows for the Sapphire to be seen alongside hidden, bezel set diamond peak stones placed into the palladium shank to create that truly unique additional design detailing. The overall tone of the ring demonstrates how simplistic design desires can still provide drama and elegance.
